This most recent work continues an exploration of the narrative potential in contemporary allegories, as expressed by these characters built directly from contemporary urban consumer society. These paintings are copies of collages built from the detritus of our consumer society and textures from glossy magazines reassembled and painted into characters, all conversing, scolding or caught in the act, interpretations of how others might see us.  The daily routine, the goods and objects interacting in the play, humanly if you will, The Princess, The Politician, The Scientist, The Idol, all in full view for the entire world to see and the posters and billboards become the back drop, the stage, in this consumer theatre.
