We will cover preparation & handling, proper chemical formulas, exposure and development, for Ambrotype positives. as well as best practices for finishing - hand colouring, japanning & varnishing.  We will also explore advanced positive possibilities like the amazing Relievo-Ambrotype - hopefully expanding your horizons past the all too common and insanely boring.contemporary Wetplate "big head" portraits.
